A: After I am accepted for unemployment benefits, what will happen next?
B: You will receive a Notice of Unemployment Insurance Award letter.
A: What will that tell me?
B: The Award Letter will tell you how much you will receive weekly.
A: Are there any other forms that I need to fill out?
B: You will need to fill out a Continued Claim Form every two weeks.
A: What information will I need to provide on that form?
B: They will need to know where you worked and how much money you made.
A: Are there any other questions on the form?
B: Basically, they want to know that you were available for work and not sick.

A: Will they send me a form telling me that I have been granted unemployment?
B: A Notice of Unemployment Insurance Award letter will be sent to you.
A: What information will be in that letter?
B: The Award Letter will inform you as to how much you will receive.
A: What other forms will I need to turn in?
B: Every two weeks you will receive a Continued Claim Form that you must turn in.
A: What will they be asking me on that form?
B: You must show that you were available and that you looked for work.
A: What else will they ask me?
B: One of the questions they ask you is if you were well enough to work.

A: Will I get notification that I qualify for unemployment?
B: The Employment Development Office will send you a Notice of Unemployment Insurance Award letter.
A: What is contained in that letter?
B: In addition to telling you how much you will receive, the beginning and ending dates of your claim will be included.
A: Will the Award Letter tell me what I need to fill out next?
B: You will receive a Continued Claim Form and every two weeks, you must turn it in.
A: When I fill out the Continued Claim Form, what will I need to tell them?
B: You must show where and when you tried to look for work. If you earned any money, you need to tell them about it.
A: What other information does the form ask for?
B: You have to tell them if you were too sick to work on any of the days that you should have been looking for work.
